I am determined to chase the source of meanings rather than offer myself as some sort of model for which to refer to the world. For these reasons the taxonomy of the language I am trying to organize uses abstraction and takes into deep consideration the successes and failures of contemporary art. By exploring epistemological concerns it is critical that the source be active rather than reactive.

As an artist I am methodical and relentless, as a researcher I am thoughtful, and as a printmaking technician I have an approach as nontraditional as my life’s path. When away from the press, my curiosity and challenge of restraint lead me through the labyrinth of mixed media with which I am also finding great success.
